What’s not to love about our “triple-B” theme? Join us for a kicked-up monthly match with shooting and she-nanigans hosted by the ladies of 5 Dogs Creek.

She-Bang! main matches

5 stages each day (two separate matches) Come for one day or stay all weekend!
Sign-in by 8:15 AM.; shooters’ meeting 8:30 AM
Regular daily match rate: Members $15; Non-members $20.  Join 5 Dogs and get the member discount!
Everyone – shooters and non-shooters – will be entered in a raffle for treasured items donated by the ladies
October is breast cancer awareness month. Wear pink all weekend, but especially on Sunday when we’ll take a group photo.

Dog-nabbit details and a tax deduction!

To help raise money for a good cause, the ladies will be selling “dog-nabbits” which can be used to magically erase misses. Our charity again this year is the AIS Cancer Center at San Joaquin Community Hospital in Bakersfield (SJCH).

Each day you may purchase a maximum of five dog-nabbits for $10
Use them during the main match to erase misses. 1 dog-nabbit = 1 miss erased. Use them one at a time or all at once (can you say train wreck?) Dog-nabbits cannot be combined for procedurals or other penalties
Dog-nabbits are not transferable to others and are good only for the day purchased
Unused dog-nabbits can be entered in a special raffle for fabulous and unique prizes

Make your dog-nabbit tax deductible by writing a check directly to the SJCH Foundation. And, of course, any additional gift you may feel inclined to make will be welcomed.

She-Nanigans!

Cowboy swap meet all weekend. Buy, sell, trade or barter your extra cowboy duds, gear or whatever.

Friday:

Hot dog it’s Friday! Potluck dinner with hot dogs provided; bring sides
Friday night at the movies! Featuring a compilation of the greatest western saloon scenes of all time

Saturday side matches:

Bring your .22 single action pistol and lever, pump or single shot .22 rifle! Experience the evil genius of Bones Brannon in a man-on-man .22 rimfire race you won’t want to miss.
Bring your BB gun! Miss Barah Lee Misditt has a trio of targets that will make you giggle. Don’t shoot your eye out, kid!
She-nanigans four-person team shoot! Teams will be drawn at random and will use main match guns. Better throw in some extra ammo for this extravaganza.

Saturday night:

Bacon-themed potluck! Bring grub to share and your Lipitor
Night shoot! Use your main match guns and ammo, shooting smokeless powder is okay, or light up the sky with blackpowder.

  1. Dang ! ! My wife and my shooti’n Pard are back from “She Bang” and Dang !! I shoulda been there . . . . . Sounds like a good time was had . . . . . and maybe several libations taken in my name/absence. Thank you all for thinking of me. keep your finger crossed that I am able to not only attend, but SHOOT at the January shoot ! ! !

    For those of you that remember my son Steven,(Deadly Dick), he is now PFC Steven and at Ft Drum, NY working Black Hawk Helos. I just received word that he has completed his flight physical and is being transferred to Aplha Co., 2nd Battalion, 10th Combat Aviation Brigade, 10th Mountain Division. He is awaiting orders assigining flight duty, flight duty equipment and the beginning of academic flight classes. End goal, CREW CHIEF on a Black Bird Helo. That’s my boy . . . . .

    My best to the Ladies of “She Bang” and Dag Nabit, I hope to be there for you in 2015 ! !
