Event : 5 Dogs Creek Presents “The Buddy love, Gunfighter Throwdown”

Information: Mosey on over and join us for two full days of Cowboy Action Shooting at its finest. The Buddy Love Gunfighter Throwdown is a much-anticipated annual shindig that encourages—and dares—shooters to try their hand, or hands, at a match gunfighter style. The stages have been penned by the Gunfighters of 5 Dogs Creek and promise to be fun, friendly to gunfighters, and kindly disposed toward every category in the corral. Not hankerin’ to shoot gunfighter? No trouble at all. Shoot your regular category, or any category that suits your fancy—we won’t get our spurs in a twist.
Dry amping is available and free, so hitch up the wagon and settle in. We’ll also have a Saturday evening potluck, so bring a dish fit for hungry cowpokes and tall-tale tellers.
As an addition to this year’s Potluck Buddy Love is also hosting the inaugural Dutch Oven Dessert Cook off, let the chips fall where they may, but in the end we will all be winners as we reap the rewards of all the participants efforts.
Buddy is also promising fun side events and other activities sure to keep the weekend lively, loud, and grinnin’ like a possum in a peach barrel. (team shoot, couples shoot, speed pistol, etc.)
On Sunday, after the scores are read and the dust has settled, Buddy Love will present the 1st Annual “5 Dogs Creek Gunfighter of the Year” Award and Buckle—so polish those irons and bring your best swagger.
