Posse Assignments 2012 CA State Championships

Wondering what Posse are you on? Here are the lists!

Please note that Posses are grouped together; (1 & 2),  (3& 4), (5 & 6) and so on.

So Posses 1 & 2 are grouped together. But while posse 1 is shooting, posse 2 is working the same stage- counting, running the loading & unloading tables, resetting targets, and all that. Then while Posse 2 shoots, Posse 1 works the stage.

  1. TO ALL SHOOTERS COMING TO 5 DOGS: We use a split posse system. Posse 1 and 2 make up one posse, as do 3 and 4, 5 and 6 and so on. We have found this works best. So when posse 1 is shooting, posse two is working the loading and unloading tables, spotting, picking brass etc etc. Once posse 1 has finished shooting they trade places with posse 2 who now shoots while one works. This gives people a chance to rest up, drink some water, go to the washroom etc. without feeling guilty about abandoning their group. It has worked beautifully in the past and we hope it will do so again. FOUR DAYS AND COUNTING. YAHOOOOOO

  2. Well now, have I got good news for you Nickel Jack. Posse 11 and 12 make one posse. So even though you have been assigned different numbers, you will in fact be shooting together.

  3. I would like to request that Outlaw Jim assigned to possee 12 be moved to possee 11 which I have been assigned. We travel together and this would really help us. Thanks in advance. Nickel Jack.
