April 2008 Edition

Howdy Folks

Well what a weekend we had this month. Along with having superb weather, Bo Bean put on a fantastic shoot. Everyone had a super good time. The stages were so easy and so much fun that a few folks just couldn’t help getting a “P” for the simplicity of it. We all hope to have Bo put on another great match in the near future.

The Mexican potluck went over really well and had so many folks, myself included, going back for seconds. The food was really great! Maybe we could put this down on the calendar in the near future for a repeat performance.

We had a great turn out this month with all the campers and shooters showing up, three great posies Saturday and four on Sunday. We sure enjoyed seeing all the visitors from our sister clubs and hope to have them back again soon.

We had three new shooters this month, Foxy School Marm in Ladies Traditional , Bravo in Buckaroo Boy category, and El Armero in Classic Cowboy.

There will be a work party the week before the annual. If you can, come out and camp and help get things all spiffy and looking sharp. We need all the help we can get folks so come early, camp and be prepared to get grungy.

With the State shoot approaching, time is drawing short for everyone who hasn’t gotten their applications in. I understand the list is filling up fast so you better hurry and get er done.

Did anyone not recognize this lovely lady? Yep, It’s Sunshine Kid sporting a new look and having fun to boot.
