Howdy folks:

Well what a Hot monthly match we had this time! Besides the hot temps, Doc Wallraven put on a fine match. He had a lot of folks using their thinking caps and those who didn't well, lets say they got some “P's” added to their scores. Don't know if we can blame the heat for those “oops” or lack of concentration but it made for an interesting match this month. Thanks Doc.

Thanks go to Eve Nenjoy for bringing her ice cream maker and the fixings for an ice cream social Saturday. It was an added treat to help cool off after an eventful day of shooting and the ice cream was really tasty too.

Here is the list for the next few months of people putting on the monthly matches.

An important note from Mescalero.

2008 is just around the corner, and it's not too early to start lining up volunteers to put on our monthly matches. If you'd like to volunteer for a 2008 monthly match, please call Mescalero at 661/588-8978 (or email at donkathymiller(at) aol.com). Mescalero will coordinate volunteers so that we have a final list by November at the latest.

Also, Mad Dog Draper is in need of volunteers to help with the range chores. Please email him at maddogdraper (at) hotmail.com if you can help out at all or call (1 805 497 2857). Your help is greatly needed to keep our club running smoothly and looking great. Many Thanks go out to those who are already helping out. You are doing an awesome job.
